2 CORINTHIANS S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 1

SCRIPTURE:

We have conducted ourselves with godly sincerity and pure motives in the world, and especially toward you. This is why we are confident, and our conscience confirms this.  We didn’t act with human wisdom but we relied on the grace of God. ~ 2 Corinthians 1:12

OBSERVATION:

Godly sincerity

Pure motives

In the world - 

where I live... 

where I am...

as I am...

Toward others -

especially others I know... 

and may take for granted (?)

Is this why I lack confidence sometimes?

Why I have a guilty conscience about things?

Because I act in my own "wisdom"?

My own "I know best..."

...instead of relying on Him...

...on His grace?

APPLICATION:

Conduct myself with godly sincerity and pure motives - towards all.

Be confident - in Him. 

Let my conscience confirms this confidence - in Him.

Don’t act in or with my own wisdom.

Rely on the grace of God.

PRAYER: (using verses 3,4, & 20)

May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be blessed!  He is the compassionate Father and God of all comfort.  He’s the one who comforts us in all our trouble so that we can comfort other people who are in every kind of trouble.  We offer the same comfort that we ourselves received from God. All of God’s promises have their yes in Him. That is why we say Amen through Him to the glory of God. ...and in Jesus's Name...

"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ." (Verse 2)

I have spent over 90 hours of my life on this thing because I have had the brain rot for the last 2 years of my life (almost 20 if you count when I first read the comics) and it had to express itself somehow
